Yesterday, April 14, rescuers received a report that during grazing outside the village of V.Heyivtsi of Uzhgorod district, one of the local residents had found an item that looked like an explosive.
At the site of the dicovery, the bomb squad identified the metal item as an 82 mm mortar shell of the World War II period. The old piece of ammunition was removed and destroyed at the special site.
