As reported by the Transcarpathian Powerlifting Federation, good news for Transcarpathian sports fans has come from the National Powerlifting Federation of Ukraine, which recently honored the best athletes in this sport in different categories.
International Master of Sports from Uzhgorod Yelizaveta Ryzhak was recognized the best athlete of Ukraine in 2014. Last year, she became the bronze medalist of the World Championship, silver medalist of the European Championship, three times won the title of champion of the country, established five national records.
Senior teacher of the physical education department of UzhNU, the Chairman of the Regional Powerlifting Federation Andriy Fedorishko was recognized as the best coach of Ukraine in 2014. Last year, his trainees six times became champions of the country, twice – prize-winners of the World Championship and won silver medals at the European Championship.
Coach from Mukachevo, Judge of the National Category Mykola Krasylynets was recognized as the best judge of Ukraine in 2014, and the Transcarpathian Regional Powerlifting Federation was recognized the best regional organization of the PFU.
