Transcarpathian police remind: phone line 102 is not for April Fool’s pranks

Some people lift their own and other people’s mood by telling jokes, others tell funny stories, and there are those who like pranks.

As for the latter, we advise you to be careful, not everyone finds this kind of humor funny, especially when it comes to pranks using the phone lines of emergency services. This was reported by the mukachevo.today.

Such jokes can be regarded as false call. In this case, it is a violation of law, which provides for administrative liability, in accordance with Article 183 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses ("For deliberately false call of special services").

Remember! You should call emergency services only if necessary.
