Transcarpathian police find 80% of fleeing drivers

The law treats the fleeing of driver and leaving the victim at risk as a fact that aggravates the guilt of a person responsible for a road accident. The police find and bring to criminal liability 80 percent of runaway drivers.
According to the chief of traffic police office colonel Mykhailo Boychuk, since the beginning of the year, on the roads of Transcarpathia there have been 35 traffic accidents, where drivers fled from the scene. This is 75 percent more than that in the last year. The police solved 28 such accidents, accounting for 80 percent, ZUNR.info recorded. 
Statistics show that the police sooner or later detain and bring to responsibility all the drivers who run from the scene.
