Transcarpathian police are ensuring public order and safety during the holidays (PHOTOS)

During the celebration of public holidays – Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine, law enforcement officers will be ensuring law and order throughout the region. This year, cultural events will be held in compliance with epidemiological rules and restrictions 
  
Yesterday, August 23, and today, on the day of the 29th anniversary of our country’s Independence, cultural events and solemn gatherings will take place in all district and regional centers of Transcarpathia. Observance of public order in each village, city, the regional center will be ensured by police officers. Law enforcement officers will be on duty around the clock in all corners of Transcarpathia. For the period of celebration, the personnel of the Main Office of the National Police in Transcarpathian region will be on high alert – to ensure peaceful and safe celebration of public holidays in the region. 
The police also remind all residents and guests of the region of strict compliance with quarantine restrictions in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection and to preserve the health of visitors and participants of the events. Communication department of Transcarpathian regional police.
