The International Voloshin Literary Contest has finished. Citizens of different countries participated in it.The contest grew into a major festival that has recently finished in Koktebel.
This time, an Uzhgorod resident Mariana Neimet with a selection of new poems was included in the short-list of the Voloshin contest. And young Vasyl Malishka with the play "Listening to the rustle of birch" was included in the long list in the drama category. Moreover, the jury did not even know that the author was only fourteen.
Poetic works were reviewed by Andriy Hritsman, the editor of the "Interpoeziya" journal, Andriy Vasylevsky, the chief editor of the "Novy Mir" journal, Andriy Novikov – the chief editor of the "Sovremennaya Poeziya" journal, Oleksandr Pereverzin, the chief editor of the "Voyneha" publishing house, Yevheniy Stepanov, the chief editor of the journals "Deti Ra", Futurum-Art, famous poets Kyrylo Kovaldzhi, Andriy Korovin, Natalia Reznik and others.
In the drama genre, the jury consisted of Olena Isayeva, the secretary of the Writers’ Union of Moscow, Rodion Beletsky, the head of the department of the "Sovremennaya Dramaturgiya" journal, Svitlana Kocherina, the artistic director of the International Program "Premiere PRO", playwright Maxim Kurochkin, director Valeriya Prykhodchenko and Andriy Korovin – the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Voloshin Contest.
