The small stage of Transcarpathian Music and Drama Theater, which opened in the spring, was very warmly received by Uzhgorod audience. After the performance "Heir" directed by Mykhailo Fishchenko, that won many rave reviews, on 27-28 of September, the theater will show the second premiere on the small stage. This time, it will a French author again – Matei Vișniec with the play "THE STORY OF THE PANDA BEARS TOLD BY A SAXOPHONIST WHO HAS A GIRLFRIEND IN FRANKFURT."
The play is well known, translated into many languages, has been staged in Kharkiv and Kyiv. This performance will be a joint production of the two theaters – Transcarpathian Music and Drama Theater and Kyiv Academic Theatre "The Wheel", located on St. Andrew descent. The performance titled "Nine lives in nine nights" is directed by known Kyiv director Vitaliy Sementsov who already directed two performances in our theater.
Uzhgorod premiere will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, at 18.00. Kyiv premieres in the theater "The Wheel" are scheduled for November.
The press conference with the cast and crew will be held on Tuesday, September 27, at 17.00.
