Transcarpathian MPs ask the government for help because of the complex crime situation in the region (DOCUMENT)

An extraordinary session of the Transcarpathian Regional Council was held today, February 11. On the agenda was the decision "On the state of law, the fight against crime, the protection of public order in the territory of Transcarpathian region."

The decision was upheld after the chief of the Transcarpathian National Police told about the incident that occurred on February 7 in Mukachevo.

According to this decision, the regional deputies appealed to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the Minister of Internal Affairs asking to take urgent measures aimed at combating crime and improving the public safety.

The deputies also ask to solve the problems of police unit staffing and the like.
