Transcarpathian mountain rescue workers found five tourists lost in the mountains

During January 22, rescuers of the mountain search and rescue unit were twice sent for search operations in Rakhiv district.

Thus, at 12:35, the operational and rescue service received a report that near the Krachunyaska valley, three tourists from Switzerland born in 1964, 1971 and 1995 had gotten lost while skiing.

A crew of the Yasinya mountain search and rescue department consisting of 6 rescuers and 1 unit of equipment were sent for search and rescue operations.

At 14:30, the citizens were found, they did not need medical care. On their way to the ski resort, the rescuers met a resident of the city of Kherson born in 1984, who had come to rest and also gotten lost in the mountains.

The rescuers accompanied all of them to their place of temporary stay.

And at 18:35, the rescuers received another report that a 23-year-old resident of Kyiv had gotten lost in the mountains. As in the previous case, the search operations were carried out at the Krachunyaska valley.

At 19:45, the lost man was found, he did not need medical assistance. He was accompanied to a ski resort at the Dragobrat valley

The search work was carried out by experts of the mountain search and rescue department of Yasinya.
