Transcarpathian Motherland defenders held joint exercises (PHOTOS)

Transcarpathian territorial defense battalion, together with special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service of Ukraine offices conducted a joint exercise

On Thursday, June 12, at the range, near Uzhgorod, the training of the Transcarpathian territorial defense battalion took place. Experts of the special forces "Alpha", "Sokil", "Berkut" showed their skills to recruits and volunteers of the region. 

Transcarpathian territorial defense battalion was formed for the protection and defense of the region. Today, about 200 recruits and volunteers participated in the exercise, together with special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service of Ukraine offices. Thus, they showed how to act in case of enemy troops intrusion and in other emergency situations.

The head of the region Valeriy Lunchenko talked with the participants about the most urgent needs of the battalion. Thus, they said that such exercises should be held as often as possible, it will help improve the defense skills of soldiers. It was also decided to improve living conditions for the battalion at the range – to provide enough drinking water, blankets, sanitary conditions.
