For the first time, manufacturers of the Carpathians – Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Chernivtsi regions – will be presenting food products at the "Taste of the Carpathians" fair together.
The event will be held as part of the "Lviv on a Plate" festival held on 28-29 June in Lviv, informed Tourinform Transcarpathia.
Manufacturers of Transcarpathian products meeting the criteria of the organizers will be able to present their goods at the unique fair in Lviv.
In Ukrainian Carpathians, agriculture has a long tradition, and in recent years the interest of consumers in the products from the region has significantly increased.
They especially appreciate the typical Carpathian products such as brynza cheese and other kinds of cheese, herbal teas, jams, fruit juices, honey, meats and more.
The organizers are the manufacturers of regional Carpathian food and the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland).
Financial support in organization of the event is provided by the Swiss Confederation.
