Transcarpathian law enforcement set crime solving records

This year, criminal activities of 22 people, who have committed crimes in organized groups, have been stopped.

Law enforcement agencies in the region this year have found out 6 organized groups, last year, they found 5. 

These criminal groups were related: one – with interregional relations, one – with transnational relations, one was formed on ethnic basis, also one was found in the banking system (corruption schemes), one – in the financial and credit system (without banks) and one – in the economy sector with corruption relations. In total, in these criminal groups, criminal activities of 22 people were stopped, who were notified of being suspected of committing crimes in an organized group. All 6 criminal proceedings of that category with indictments have been forwarded to the court, the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office in Transcarpathian region reported.
