The 49-year-old Hungarian citizen was on the international wanted list for committing a series of crimes and was hiding in Transcarpathia.
Another foreigner who was in hiding to avoid responsibility for thefts was detained by Chernivtsi regional police.
The 39-year-old Moldovan citizen, together with the aforementioned 49-year-old Hungarian, was extradited to Hungary today, July 13.
The extradition was carried out by servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine together with officers of the International Police Cooperation Sector and the special police company at the checkpoint "Tisa" in Uzhgorod district.
