In the territory of Velyky Berezny district forestry, near the village of Chornoholova, on the Lyutyanka river, there is an interesting natural object – the so-called "lagoon".
Over the past few years, the number of visitors to the Transcarpathian lagoon has increased, so, to ensure comfortable rest, foresters have improved the territory – the regional forest and hunting range administration reports.
The old road was cleared, a cozy gazebo was built, and a steep slope to the lagoon itself was secured.
Today, the "blue lagoon" is popular among Transcarpathians and tourists.
For the most part, people come here in the summer, when under sunlight the water has a blue color.
During the Austro-Hungarian period, there was a narrow-gauge railway along the river which was used by foresters to transport timber.
