Transcarpathian “Kyrnychenka” conquered the international European jury

The exemplary children’s folklore ensemble "Kyrnychenka" of Irshava (manager – Edita Tokar) won the first place at the IX International Television Art Competition "Sea Shell – 2013", held from 27 to 28 of June in Bulgaria, the zakarpattyachko informed.

This year, the festival, which was attended by artists from five countries (Bulgaria, Ukraine, Belarus, Slovakia and Armenia), was accepted to the prestigious European Association of Art Competitions.
With their lively Transcarpathian folk songs and games, Irshava ensemble conquered the jury and international audience of the Sozopol resort – the oldest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. For two days in a row, the audience of the "Apolonia" amphitheater applauded to "Carpathian games" (that was the title of the ensemble’s program) that impressed with clear voice and beautiful folk costumes. In addition to the first prize, the group won a special award – a diploma for folklore program.

Members of the "Kyrnychenka" also presented solo works at the competition, and received prizes.
