Local historian Oleksandr Bogdanov, known for his sincere love for our region, suggests paying attention to a location that has all the chances to become a tourist attraction of Transcarpathia:
"The little-known ruins of the castle in the village of Kvasovo, Beregovo district. 12th-13th century. Last time I was there 7 years ago. Everything was desolated… Now they have fixed it up, and a tasting room was built nearby. This, by the way, was the biggest negative thing today during the visit. Why? Well, probably, because in 20 minutes we were told about 10 times that we should pay for a visit. They did not ask for money directly, but phrases like "Thank you is not enough" were said regularly… I do not know who it was. The owner of the local recreation facility or an employee, but his behavior was frustrating… The last remark that flying over private property is prohibited, made me land the drone, get into a car and leave. Although he "separated" the castle from the "tasting room".
For some reason, local residents do not appreciate this relic…
And it’s a shame…"
