The Ambassador of Ukraine to Hungary together with the Chairman of the State Self-Government of Ukrainians in Hungary Yuriy Kravchenko talked with representatives of Transcarpathian media who are visiting Budapest. The Ambassador wrote about it on her page on Facebook:
"I stressed that Hungary is important for Ukraine as a neighbor, a member of NATO and the EU.
Noting the importance of continuing support of Budapest in matters of sanction and political pressure on Russia to stop Russian aggression against Ukraine, I informed about Hungarian aid in the treatment and rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers, rehabilitation of Ukrainian children from families of the ATO participants.
I told about the prospects for trade and economic cooperation, new opportunities for which open in the context of the DCFTA.
Responding to questions on the initiatives in Ukraine about the amendments to the legislation on education, language, nationality, I stressed that their adoption will take place in accordance with the Constitution and international obligations of our country taking into account the matters of security and in the interests of all Ukrainian citizens.
I also pointed out the important role of Ukrainian and Hungarian minorities in promoting the development of relations between Ukraine and Hungary."
Recall that in a week during the Ukrainian month "UKRAINE IN FOCUS", the roundtable "Challenges and threats of hybrid war for European security" will take place in Budapest.
