Transcarpathian have begun to steal electricity more often, the leader is Tyachiv district

From 9 to 15 of October, 2017, employees of the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC  revealed 41 thefts of electric energy. In particular, 28 reports of violation were drawn up against household consumers and 13 reports – against legal entities (private entrepreneurs, companies, firms, etc.).

The most cases of illegal interference in the power grid by household consumers over the past week were found in Tyachiv district (8 violations). The most common violation is interference in the metering device by its damaging (damaged meter housing, broken glass), as well as damaging and removal of seals on metering devices.

In the legal sector, facts of thefts were detected in 10 districts, most of them in the city of Uzhgorod, Mukachevo and Tyachiv districts (2 violations in each). The most common violation is interference in the metering device by its damaging (damaged meter housing, broken glass).

Also, from 9 to 15 of October, 2017, Committees to review reports of violation imposed fines totaling UAH 31.45 thousand, including UAH 28.98 thousand among households and UAH 2.47 thousand in the legal sector.
