On May 30, Transcarpathian city of Beregovo was full of graduates who said goodbye to school yesterday. The loud holiday was celebrated using the traditions of the two nations: Ukrainian and Hungarian. This is evidenced by the Chas Zakarpattya.
Each institution approached to the organization of the Farewell Bell creatively: graduates had different kinds of uniforms, school yards were decorated with Ukrainian-Hungarian motifs. Traditionally, in schools with Hungarian language of learning, even steps of educational institutions were showered with rose petals, and in the school № 5, they unfurled huge Ukrainian flag. In the secondary school number 3, graduates for good fortune walked under embroidered towels held by their parents. In the Ukrainian gymnasium, graduates even put on mantles.
Overall, this year, 189 graduates of Beregovo schools will receive certificate of complete secondary education.
