Transcarpathia is a blessed land not only because of the incredibly beautiful and rich nature. Here, fates and cultures of different peoples are intertwined as nowhere else in Ukraine. And they live, it should be emphasized, in respect and understanding of the habits and traditions of each other.
Only here, in Transcarpathia, holidays of individual faiths are respected and observed by all people. The Easter holiday, which traditionally begins to be celebrated with the consecration of Easter cakes in the night of Sunday, enjoys great respect. And not only because of a special meaning of this event. Candles in Easter baskets are burning at night, showing the way to God, grace and understanding.
