On September 30, at 13:00, in the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library named after F. Potushnyak (1st floor), there will be the presentation of the collection of scientific articles, essays, fiction, bibliographic sources "Transcarpathian Frankiana." The book is timed to the 160th anniversary of Ivan Franko.
"This publication for the first time features under one cover the works of Ivan Franko, confirming the interest of this writer, thinker and public figure in the history, culture and the then realities of Hungarian Rus, that is our region, as well as the works of scholars that analyze the impact of the works and personality of Ivan Franko on social and cultural life of Transcarpathia. In addition, the history of Transcarpathian Franko studies and their source base is accumulated in the collection, and the works of contemporary writers dedicated to Ivan Franko are presented here", – it is stated in the reader’s note to the collection.
This is the second publication (the first one was "Transcarpathian Shevchenkiana", 2014) in this series prepared by the regional library.
