Today, on September 16, in the framework of the nationwide events on the occasion of the Day of Forestry Workers of Ukraine, a big holiday devoted to the 25th anniversary of this agency is taking place in the "Bozdosh" park in Uzhgorod. The program includes interesting competitions, master classes, games, contests and prizes, etc.
Young participants of the event will be able to learn how to make bird houses and feeders of natural wood, plant their own trees, and adults can taste forest dishes, see the best hand-made products of folk craft artists. During the holiday, an exciting enterntainment program will be taking place on the main stage, an unforgettable march of foresters accompanied by the orchestra and much more.
The main purpose of the holiday is to promote a positive attitude to the forest, its importance in human life, the rapprochement of foresters with the public and the promotion of the forestry profession as such.
This year, a dress code was introduced for the first time – those guests, who will come in green clothes or have a green element, will receive a gift!
