Transcarpathian Folk Choir sang carols in the Christmas Village in Uzhgorod!

The Honoured Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir greeted the guests of the Christmas fair on Nezalezhnist embankment with congratulations and carols. 

As you know, Christmas Town is a festive fair from the organization Tsimbory-Cimborák, ​​which is not only beautifully decorated and offers great holiday gifts and goodies, but also has a charitable purpose. Yesterday, the transfer of the Bethlehem Fire was held there – a cozy and nice event.

Today, on the embankment, there was the official opening of the holiday town. The Mayor Bogdan Andriyiv conratulated the parishioners of the western rite on Christmas and thanked the organizers of the fair – Daniella Gevorgyan, Andriy Vorobets, Vyacheslav Tobiash, Yaroslav Levchuk, Oleksandr Baloh and everyone involved in the creation of a unique Christmas atmosphere, promotion of the tourist attractiveness of the city. 

 By the way, the Transcarpathian Folk Choir will have a festive concert in the Philharmonic on Sunday, the beginning is at 16.00. And in general, during the weekend many exciting events will be held in the center of Uzhgorod, so do not miss a chance to have a nice time – the City Hall informs.
