Transcarpathian Office of Fishery Protection issued the order that determines the period during which the fishing in the region shall be prohibited. According to the Zaholovok, the aim of the ban is the protection and preservation of habitat, migration routes and places of natural reproduction (spawning) of fish and other aquatic biological resources in fishery water bodies of Transcarpathian region.
Under this order, any fishing and extraction of water bioresources in water bodies of Transcarpathia shall be prohibited from April 5 to May 25.
