Today, dog handlers with dogs from the Trascarpathian Police Dog Training Center departed to the ATO area in the East of Ukraine.

Senior inspector-cynologist, police captain Ivan Dobosz and his German shepherd Rocky are going to the ATO zone for the second time. Before that, they spent two months in Donetsk region, where 5-year-old Rocky did very well while patrolling at checkpoints.

Inspector-cynologist, police captain Semen Potsko with his shepherd dog Zlata is going to the East for the first time. This dog is young, she was recently purchased for the Dog Training Centre, but she is very intelligent and quickly learns the "police" service.

Dog handlers Dobosz and Potsko went to the East in the police SUV, and their four-pawed helpers will ride in a special thermobox trailer, which was recently acquired for the Dog Training Center.

The officers were blessed for the long journey by Father Ivan.

Currently, the Transcarpathian Police Dog Training Center has about three dozen dogs, last year, they bought 6 elite shepherds, the above mentioned thermobox, etc. The police management attaches great importance to the work of the dog training service because intelligent service dogs are an invaluable aid in law enforcement activities, especially in combat situations.
