Transcarpathian deputies “tied the hands” of the State Land Register in the region

At the plenary session of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, the deputies voted for a quite interesting moratorium.

Namely, they introduced a temporary ban on the transfer of state-owned agricultural land outside settlements into private ownership.

The purpose is to take control of the allocation of such land by units of the State Land Register in the region. Transcarpathians have had a lot of complaints about this "service" regarding improper allocation of land, all kinds of abuse.

Most likely, the moratorium will last until the adoption of the law, which will grant local authorities the right to dispose of the land outside settlements.
