Transcarpathian deputies approved the appointment of Vasil Sheba as the director of the regional ethnographic museum

Today, December 7, the second plenary meeting of the fifth session of the Regional Council VII convocation took place.

The deputies considered the list of issues on the agenda of the fifth session, and then decided on those that have been considered at this plenary session. It was also decided to adopt some decisions later – at the next meeting of the fifth session, scheduled to be held on December 22, in view of the need to adopt the regional budget by December 25.

The deputies considered each draft decision very carefully. Including the amendments to the program "Care" to strengthen social protection in 2016 – 2018  .

 When they started to consider the approval of candidates for the position of the director of the MU "Agency of regional development and cross-border cooperation if the Transcarpathian Regional Council "Zakarpattya", two nominations were made. The first – nominated by the head of the faction BPP "Solidarity" H. Moskal – was the candidacy of Mykhailo Dankanych.

And the Chairman of the Public Council of the Regional State Administration and the faction "Batkivshchyna" nominated the candidacy of Mykola Berezhansky. Both candidates introduced themselves. As a result, the deputies elected the former, and decided to conclude a contract with him for one year. 

In addition, members of the Regional Council approved the candidacy of Vasyl Sheba as the director of the Uzhgorod castle.

46 deputies voted "for".

At the end of the meeting, they adopted a number of decisions on appeals to the higher echelons of the government on important issues for the region and its inhabitants. 

          Then, a solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of Local Government took place in the lobby.
