The squad of police dogs from different regions of Ukraine has taken up the service, the National Police of Ukraine reports on its Facebook page. They will be ensuring order in the city.
The rotation of a consolidated squad of cynologists, who are helping colleagues from the ATO zone to ensure safety in the front-line region, took place in the Dog Training Center of Donetsk regional police (Mariupol). As a result of the cooperation, since the beginning of the year, police dogs have helped to find more than 4,000 pieces ammunition and nearly 20 kg of explosives, solve 78 crimes.
Among the specialists who arrived to Mariupol, there are Transcarpathians. Those are junior inspector-cynologist, sergeant Ivan Leshanich with a German shepherd Yango, inspector-cynologist, senior lieutenant Yuriy Dzyabko with Neuro, and inspector-cynologist, Lieutenant Vasyl Tarakhonich with Betty.
