Transcarpathian customs officers seized from a Ukrainian 860 packs of cigarettes and a car

Today, at the customs post "Tisa", officers of the Transcarpathian Customs, together with the border guards, prevented illegal export of tobacco products to the European Union. A Ukrainian was going to Hungary by a car HYUNDAI TRAJET on private affairs.

The citizen was undergoing the customs control in the "green corridor". During the oral questioning, the Ukrainian denied carrying any products in amounts that are subject to written declaration, customs payments and statutory prohibitions or restrictions on carrying across the customs border of Ukraine.

Based on signs of presence of specially manufactured caches in the vehicle, customs officers decided to conduct an in-depth customs inspection of the vehicle.

Thus, during the customs inspection, 860 packs of cigarettes "For Duty Free Only" without excise stamps were found in the vehicle. The tobacco products were were hidden in the engine compartment under the car hood in specially arranged constructive cavities of the car.

Thus, the citizen of Ukraine committed acts aimed at moving goods across the customs border of Ukraine concealed from customs control, ie using specially manufactured caches.
