The vehicle was seized from a citizen of Hungary at the customs post "Vylok" of the Transcarpathian Customs because of a forged identification number.
The foreigner was undergoing the customs control in the "green corridor" lane. The citizen submitted for customs control the passport, the certificate of registration for the vehicle, the letter of authorization for the right to drive the car.
Based on the results of the analysis and risk assessment, the vehicle was taken out of the general flow for an in-depth inspection. With the help of an expert, customs officers found out that the ID number was forged.
This fact was reported to the Vynogradiv police department.
Thus, the Hungarian committed actions aimed at moving the vehicle across the customs border of Ukraine concealed from customs control.
These actions have signs of violation of customs regulations referred to in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
Based on Article 511 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, under the report on violation of customs rules, the vehicle "TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 150" made in 2015, worth more than UAH 1 million USD was seized.
