Today, March 27, employees of the Transcarpathian customs office arrived at the outskirts of Svalyava after a call from the police. As it turned out, the policemen had stopped a truck carrying fruit from Serbia to Russia under customs seal to the conditions of the TIR Convention.
The police officers suspected that there were illegal immigrants in the truck. Therefore, customs officials removed the seals and found inside the truck a 16-year-old citizen of Afghanistan.
The foreigner explained that he paid a citizen of Serbia to carry him to Hungary, but when he got cold and heard voices he began to knock in order to get out. It turned out that instead of Hungary he came to Ukraine.
