Transcarpathian customs officers prevented the import of an “AUDI” with forged documents

At the customs post "Vylok", Transcarpathian customs officers prevented an attempt to import into Ukraine an "AUDI A4" made in 1996 with forged documents.

The incident happened yesterday. To move the car across the customs border, a Ukrainian filed to the Transcarpathian customs office a certificate of registration and letter of authorization for the use of the vehicle issued by the owner of the vehicle and certified by a notary.

During the customs control, the vehicle was taken out of the "green corridor" lane and sent to the "red corridor", where during the check of the submitted documents, inspectors suspected inauthenticity of the letter of authorization for the use of the vehicle.

During the check, customs officers received the information that the letter of authorization for the use of the vehicle had not been certified and registered by the said notary. Therefore, the letter was forged.

Thus, the citizen of Ukraine moved the "AUDI A4" across the customs border of Ukraine concealed from customs control by providing the customs authority of Ukraine a forged document, namely the letter authorization for the use of the vehicle.

These actions have signs of violation of customs regulations referred to in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. The report of violation of customs regulations was made, the vehicle was seized.
