The Ukrainian chose the "green corridor" to pass customs control. Thus, the citizen stated that the goods he was carrying were not subject to written declaration and to the statutory prohibitions or restrictions on import into the customs territory of Ukraine, the site of the city of Uzhgorod reported.
During the customs control of the vehicle and personal belongings of the citizen, the customs officers found foreign-made goods, in particular metal clamps and scissors in the amount of 4,100 pieces. The goods were in the luggage compartment among personal belongings. The weight of the goods was over 212 kg.
Currently, a report on violation of customs rules under Article 471 of the Customs Code of Ukraine has been drawn up, and the goods have been seized pending court decision, the Transcarpathian Customs of the State Customs Service informs.
