Transcarpathian customs office of the SFS: UAH 2.8 billion was paid to the budget

During 11 months of 2016, Transcarpathian customs office of the SFS transferred to the state budget UAH 2.8 billion, which is UAH 302 million, or 12.2% more than that in the same period of 2015.

The main budget-forming goods that allowed the customs office to efficiently fill the state treasury, since the beginning of the year, have been: passenger cars (custom clearance of which brought UAH 348.3 million); AOI machines (UAH 304.9 million); bodies (UAH 151.6 million); parts and equipment for motor vehicles (UAH 80.7 million); tractors (UAH 58.1 million); printing equipment (UAH 55 million); internal combustion engines with spark ignition (UAH 54.2 million), plastic products (UAH 52.4 million) and others.

It should be noted that the positive trend in revenues for 2016 was ensured in particular by additional revenues from customs value adjustments at UAH 43.7 million; additional accruals due to classification of goods – UAH 2.2 million; control of the correctness of the declaration of country of origin – UAH 0.9 million.

Transcarpathian customs experts say that stable revenues are achieved primarily due to activities of Transcarpathia businesses and good level of cooperation and partnership between exporters, importers and the customs office. After all, transparency and predictability in the work of the customs enable entrepreneurs to actively carry out foreign trade activities which, as a result, increases revenues to the state budget.
