Transcarpathian Customs has implemented a pilot project

A pilot project on automatic registration of customs declarations without the participation of customs officials is being implemented the Transcarpathian customs
This was reported by the acting head of the customs Oleksandr Bohash to a journalist of the ICTV TV channel, who asked about innovations in the customs system.
– In the last two months since the introduction of the pilot project on the implementation of customs formalities by an automated customs clearance system, 184 customs declarations have been registered at the Transcarpathian customs of the State Customs Service. The pilot project provides for the possibility of automatic registration of customs declarations without the participation of customs officials, – Oleksandr Bohash said, adding: – By the way, Transcarpathian Customs was one of the first to implement this project.
According to the official, a special algorithm has been developed for the project depending on the types of transport, customs regimes and types of customs declarations. For example, declarations, that meet certain criteria and are assessed as low-risk, are sent by the registration system to a separate window. If risks are identified in the declaration or the automated risk management system is activated, its customs clearance continues according to the usual procedure. If the system does not detect errors and risks, the declaration is registered automatically, and the declarant receives a notification about it.
At the Transcarpathian Customs, three internal customs posts are involved in the experiment: "Uzhgorod-Central", "Mukachevo" and "Vynogradiv", and three Transcarpathian enterprises.
