Transcarpathian custom office paid to the budget almost UAH 1,9 billion

During the first half of 2017, Transcarpathian customs office provided UAH 1 billion 866 million of customs duties. The actual transfers during January-June 2017 increased, compared to the same period of 2016, by 41%.

The budget-forming goods during 6 months of 2017 were: passenger cars, automatic data processing machines, car bodies, motor vehicles parts and devices, internal combustion engines with spark ignition, tractors, plastic products, printing equipment, motor vehicles for the transportation of goods, machinery or equipment to collect or thresh crops.

More than UAH 1 billion 59 million of taxes was paid due to customs clearance of the participants of foreign economic activity, that do not belong to the area of the Transcarpathian customs office. This represents 56.8% of total transfers. Last year, the volume of such taxes for the same period accounted for over UAH 718 million, representing 54.2% of total transfers.

Due to customs control measures, UAH 42.5 million was paid to the state budget. In particular, following the adjustment of customs value of goods, UAH 40.5 million was paid to the budget; on account of classification work – UAH 0.4 million, and on account of verification of origin of goods – UAH 1.2 million.
