Lhotse is the fourth highest mountain in the world. It is located in the Himalayas to the south of Chomolungma, on the border between China and Nepal.
A group of Ukrainian climbers, including Iryna Halay from Mukachevo, will climb this peak without oxygen masks. Those will be the first Ukrainians to conquer this peak.
As it became known, the climbers will also make a real movie about their journey!
This spring marks the beginning of the climbing season in the Himalayas. The eight-thousanders are the highest level of mountaineering, because they require a maximum of both physical and moral efforts. Before expeditions, the participants must take a lot of training.
