On April 29, the world celebrated the International Day of Dance. On this occasion, dancers present their performances to all lovers of this art form.
Transcarpathian choreographers are no exception. Though they had to postpone their dance congratulations because of Easter holidays, but already this Friday, May 13, on the initiative of the "Children’s Dance Academy" (founder and director – Erik Sachko) and supported by the departments of culture of the region and Uzhgorod, they will a hold holiday art show in downtown.
At 15.00, near the Regional House of Culture of Trade Unions (Ruska st., 3), the registration of teams will begin. A column will be formed there, which at 16.00 will start marching along Pravoslavna Embankment to Teatralna Square, where at 16.30 an entertaining flash mob will take place and the concert will start.
Currently, more than 10 participants have agreed to take part in the dance celebration, including known professional dance groups, students of art schools, amateur and studio groups, the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration reports.
