Transcarpathian border guards were offered a bribe to let foreigners in (PHOTOS)

During the weekend, two our compatriots tried to "buy" entry to the territory of Ukraine for their foreign partners. 
Both cases were recorded at the checkpoint "Tisa" on the border with Hungary.
On Saturday evening, a 48-year-old resident of Ternopil region tried to illegally arrange for the admission of her partner, an Italian citizen. Due to the Government’s imposition of temporary restrictions on the entry of foreigners into Ukraine, the man was denied entry.
The woman offered the border guards a bribe of 100 euros to change this decision.
The next day, a 29-year-old Zhytomyr resident committed a similar offense. He offered the border guards 200 euros for the admission of a German woman, who was also denied entry.
In both cases, the border guards did not accept the illegal offers and reported bribery attempts to the management. In order to establish the circumstances and make legal decisions about the crimes under Article 369 of the Criminal Code "Offer, promise or giving of illegal benefit to an official", border guards reported the incidents to Uzhgorod police department.
After completing the relevant procedures, the foreigners were returned to the territory of Hungary.
