Transcarpathian border guards invite to take a ride on a quad bike and to look for somewhat illegal with a sniffer dog

Today, on August 23, on the Day of the Flag of Ukraine, the demonstrations of border guards will take place near the "Owl’s Nest" on Rakoczy street within the framework of the project "This way we’ll win".

Officers of the Chop border guard detachment will not only show the equipment and weapons, that they use to guard the state borders, but will also demonstrate how they do it. So, the program includes the detention of a "violator", search for illegal items with a sniffer dog, as well as demonstrations involving pyrotechnics.

All visitors, including children, will have a chance to look into the thermal imager, to hold a machine gun and a grenade launcher, to ride a quad bike, to try on a border guard unifrom, and to talk to men and women in green caps about this important service. Some of the equipment will be publicly demonstrated for the first time.

Come to the city center – it will be interesting!
