Today, at midnight, as a result of the interaction of Ukrainian and Romanian border guards, an attempted smuggling of a batch of cigarettes was prevented in Transcarpathia.
Border guards of the department "Dilove" of the Mukachevo Detachment, while monitoring the coast of the Tisa river, arrested two people in wetsuits. The men had no IDs, however, they said that they were citizens of Ukraine. Ukrainian border guards immediately informed the Romanian colleagues about the detection of the offenders, after which they found eight packages of tobacco products. The detainees were taken to the unit for drafting documents of an administrative offense. The offenders will be judged in court.
