Transcarpathian border guards found near the border a cache with 1.5 thousand packs of cigarettes

A cache with tobacco products was found last night by border guards of the department "Luzhanka" of the Mukachevo detachment near the border with Hungary.

While patrolling the area, border guards found a hidden pit with tobacco products. It was located 200 meters from the border and disguised with branches. The cache contained three packages with 1,500 packs of cigarettes that smugglers planned to illegally transport to neighboring Hungary. The border guards brought the found cigarettes to the border guard unit.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the year, units of the Mukachevo detachment seized over 255,000 packs of cigarettes in 57 cases.
