Transcarpathian border guards found another car wanted by Interpol

Yesterday, at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod", Chop border guards detained a car that was wanted according to the Interpol database.

Thus, about noon, a car "Volkswagen Golf" made in 2008 arrived at the checkpoint to enter Ukraine. The vehicle was driven by a 51-year-old citizen of Slovakia. During the border control, border guards found out that the car was wanted.

During the check, it was found out that the car has been listed as stolen in Slovakia since June this year.  

Representatives of the Ukrainian Interpol Bureau were informed about this fact. The car and the driver were referred to officers of the National Police in Transcarpathian region to establish all circumstances.
