Transcarpathian border guards found a minibus wanted by the Interpol (PHOTOS)

Yesterday, border guards of the Chop detachment found a vehicle wanted by the Interpol as stolen. When checking a minibus Mercedes entering Ukraine, border guards had doubts about the conformity of the vehicle unit numbers to those indicated in the registration documents. Therefore, it was decided to inspect the vehicle in depth and with an expert. During this inspection, law enforcement officers found signs of tampering: another body number was placed on top of the original number.

Then the border guards decided to look up the vehicle in the Interpol databases. Thus it was established that the minibus "Mercedes" made in 2008 is in the international wanted list. Two weeks ago, it was stolen in France.

Upon completion of the necessary procedural steps, border guards handed over the vehicle and the documents to the officers of the National Police.
