Transcarpathian border guards found a car “BMW X5” stolen in Germany

This morning, border guards of the Chop detachment detained a car, that is wanted by Interpol as stolen. Thus, a car "BMW X5" with Spanish registration driven by a citizen of Ukraine arrived at the checkpoint Tisa" to enter Ukraine. During the inspection of documents, the alert from the "Interpol" database was received. Border guards reported that fact to representatives of the Ukrainian Interpol Bureau and the National Police. At the request of the border guards, the Ukrainian Interpol Bereau reported that the vehicle "BMW" made in 2005 was listed as stolen in Germany in 2005.

The vehicle and the documents were handed over to the National Police.
