Transcarpathian border guards detained a couple of illegal migrants in the mountains

Husband and wife, who were looking for better living conditions, were detained by border guards of the Chop detachment last night.

He is from Lebanon, she is a Ukrainian. For some time, the couple was living in the Arab country, then in Ukraine. Then, they decided to seek happiness in the Western Europe. They were detained a dozen meters to the state border. The border guard unit of the "Stuzhytsia" department stopped them whne they were attempting to cross the Ukrainian-Slovak border.

The offenders will be prosecuted under Part 2 of Article 204-1 of the CAO "Illegal crossing or attempt to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine."
