Transcarpathian border guards call to help their Crimean fellows

"Dear residents and guests of Transcarpathia! In this difficult time for us and our country, we all follow the events that are taking place on the Crimean Peninsula. Many of our fellow citizens, including border guards, became hostages of the difficult situation and need our help and support.

On March 8, 2014, the management of the State Border Service of Ukraine organized the charitable fund-raising for isolated border units and families of border guards stationed in the Crimea.

With our respect, we appeal to you to understand the situation, which the border guards in the Crimea found themselves in, and, if possible, to help border guards of the Azov-Black Sea regional department of the SBS and their families.
