Transcarpathian battalion is not ready to fight – opinion

There is no order to send Transcarpathian territorial defense battalion in the ATO area. This is how the military commissar of the regional military commissariat Ivan Vasyltsyun commented on the situation, during the session of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, the press service of RSA informed.

"There are a lot of reports in the media that the territorial defense battalion will be sent to the ATO area in the East on July 18th. I inform that the combat training at the training ground in the village of Orikhovytsya in Uzhgorod district has been extended until July, 18. Now, we receive equipment and other means that should be in the battalion. Only, after the combat training, the commission will draw up a certificate on the readiness of a certain unit. Now there is no such unit that would meet all the requirements. In the battalion, there are 63 volunteers who want to be sent to the ATO zone, but there is no mechanism to send them to the East separately from the battalion"- Vasyltsyun said.
