Transcarpathian band ‘Rock-H’ performed at ‘Madiar FEST’ in Lviv (VIDEO)

The first in Ukraine Festival of Culture and Winemaking of Hungary ‘Madiar FEST’ was hosted in Lviv from April 29 to May 6.

The similar festivals will be held in other cities of Ukraine too – Kiev, Khmelnytskyy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Mykolaiev and Odessa. In general the festival will run 150 days in Ukraine.

The whole week during which the festival in Lviv was held one could taste traditional Hungarian dishes and world known wine, of which there were 60 kinds from the 15 different Hungarian companies of the Tokay province.

Also Lviv citizens had an opportunity to dance chardash, hear and see well-known Hungarian bands which performed traditional for this country dance and songs and also jazz. Ukrainian bands also performed, in particular – the Transcarpathian band ‘Rock-H’.
