On Thursday, April 9, at the RSA, there was a meeting of the head of the Youth and Sports Department Denys Man with heads of departments of district state administrations and city executive committees.
At the meeting, they discussed prospects for the development of sport in the region, the organization of rehabilitation for youth and athletes of the region and prospects of the youth movement development in Transcarpathia.
Denys Man discussed with the colleagues the funding of this area in districts and announced the decision to hold a public hearing about it on April 29 with the participation of the regional officials, representatives of sports federations, associations, coaches and athletes. The head of the Youth and Sports Department told the heads of structural units about the plan of working trips to districts that will take place over the next three months and called to seek for opportunities to restore the sports infrastructure in the region together.
"We need to develop a common vision and adopt common rules for the development of sport in the region. This must not be my position or your position, this must be a common strategy of the development of sports. Our function as representatives of the government is to create appropriate conditions for sports," – Denys Man, the head of Youth and Sports Department of the Regional State Administration said.
The next meetings will be devoted to the development of youth and health policies in the region.
